Apartment Chocolat is a one bedroom apartment on the first floor in the new part of the development (just above
Apartment Zoe), with a balcony and sea views. Les Hameaux is a well thought out residence on a sunny hillside above
Propriano, just a short walk from the bustling port and lively little town. Comprising a collection of houses and
apartments, the surroundings are well cared for with a gardener to maintain the communal areas.
The main door opens onto a hallway which leads to the main living room which is separated from the well equipped
kitchen by a breakfast bar. The living room comprises a sofabed, flat screen television and has also been equipped
with a table and chairs should you prefer to eat inside. There are French windows leading to the balcony where
you can sit and watch the world go by or admire the views as the sun sets over the bay. There is a separate bedroom
with twin beds, making the apartment Chocolat ideal for families who are looking for an economical base where they
can put the children to bed at night and still enjoy the living areas and balcony without disturbing them. The
bathroom offers a bath with shower attachment over, toilet and washbasin. The kitchen is arranged in a galley style
and has been equipped with a washing machine, fridge with ice box, two hob rings, toaster and cafetiere plus a
microwave.
The heavy wooden shutters and tiled floor help to keep the apartment cool even during the hot summer months, but
if you fancy a refreshing dip, two of the four pools within Les Hameaux are just a few metres from the house. If
you are feeling energetic, there is also a tennis court for the use of residents and their guests, a running track
on the hillside opposite and many marked walks and trails nearby. If you simply want to relax and take it easy,
why not try the relaxing thermal baths at Baracci or Caldane, or take in some culture at the local theatre.
The main town of Propriano is just a short walk away, and there you will find a many good restaurants and lots
of interesting boutiques. You can walk to two good beaches from the apartment, and there are so many interesting
villages to explore as well as all the sports and activities on offer, you'll be spoilt for choice!
