One of a collection of houses and apartments in this pretty, well maintained
residential development, Apartment René is ideal for a couple or small family looking for a peaceful location,
within walking distance of the lively town and one of the many superb sandy beaches in the area.
The main door opens onto the well equipped kitchen, with full cooker, fridge-freezer and washing machine, and a
dining table and chairs. A couple of steps lead up to the split level living room which has been tastefully decorated
in fresh whites and summery accent colours. The lowel level comprises the dining area with further table and chairs,
sideboard and large picture window looking out over the grounds of the residence, and a door leading to the bedroom
with double bed. A few more steps lead to the upper level where there is a comfortable sofabed, and large alcove
area with twin beds which has been separated by an attractive wooden screen. A door leads to the large family bathroom
with bath and shower attachment, and toilet.
Within the development are four swimming pools (one just a few metres from the apartment - open June to September),
and a tennis court for the use of residents and their guests. There is no terrace as such, but there is an area
of outdoor space where one can sit and watch the world go by, just as the locals do, and the large picture windows
in the main living room lend the room a summery feel. The main town of Propriano is just a short 15 minute walk
away and there you will find a many good restaurants and lots of interesting boutiques.
You can walk to one of the sandy beaches from the apartment, and there are lots of secluded coves and picturesque
beaches stretching north of the bay towards Cappiciolo, and south towards Campomoro. In the area you can also enjoy
all the usual water sports, bathe in river rock pools or relax in the hot springs of Baracci, play tennis, go walking,
horse-riding, diving, climbing, or take a train or boat trip. The more adventurous can try a tandem u.l.m., canyoning,
parachuting, climbing or jetskiing. There really is something for everyone!
