On Another of our collection of properties at Les Hameaux de Propriano,
Apartment Zoë is a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor in the new part of the development, with a terrace
and sea views. Les Hameaux is a well thought out residence on a sunny hillside above Propriano, just a short walk
from the bustling port and lively little town. Comprising a collection of houses and apartments, the surroundings
are well cared for with a gardener to maintain the communal areas.
Entrance is either via the terrace or the main door at the back of the apartment. The main door opens onto a hallway
leading to the open plan living/dining room with kitchen corner comprising fridge with ice box, mini oven and hob.
A washing machine has also been added for the convenience of guests. This main room has been well laid out to make
the most of the space, and you will find a sofabed allowing for extra guests or more flexible sleeping arrangements
as well as a table and chairs should you wish to eat inside. Double french doors lead onto the terrace with a table
and chairs where you can eat al fresco, and views over the town to the sea - particularly pretty in the evenings
as the sun slowly sinks below the horizon. There is a separate bedroom with double bed. The bathroom has a bath
with shower attachment over, and a toilet. Apartment Zoë has been simply but tastefully furnished throughout,
and is an ideal base base for a couple or young family alike.
The heavy wooden shutters and tiled floor help to keep the apartment cool even during the hot summer months, but
if you fancy a refreshing dip, two of the four pools within Les Hameaux are just a few metres from the house. If
you are feeling energetic, there is also a tennis court for the use of residents and their guests, a running track
on the hillside opposite and many marked walks and trails nearby. If you simply want to relax and take it easy,
why not try the relaxing thermal baths at Baracci or Caldane, or take in some culture at the local theatre.
The main town of Propriano is just a short walk away, and there you will find a many good restaurants and lots
of interesting boutiques. You can walk to two good beaches from the apartment, and there are so many interesting
villages to explore as well as all the sports and activities on offer, you'll be spoilt for choice!
